It's a shame that he is also the only one of the Erskine silks not to mention his alma mater on his website CV. I fear that goes to show the mountain you have to climb Android (as if you needed reminding), but please let it inspire you rather than put you off.
he's good - came to talk to us last year. must be a decent uni then.
excellent - another 30 mins without entering the portal of despair. i can do this all day. and then it's just 12 more and i will have avoided olpas altogether. woohoo!
Anon, I bet you're just jealous that MT didn't go to your uni
SW, get on with you applications already! :P
make me! (sticks out tongue)
It's Keele is that right? Didn't Michael Mansfield go there as well? It's not a bad uni.. But - Lord Woolf went to my uni, and so did Ghandi. I don't think you can beat Ghandi, although he wasn't a lawyer I admit.
Michael Mansfield did indeed.
OK - your uni wins. But, I tell you something... There was a rumour that Peaches Gondolf (or what's her name) was considering going to ours!
I didn't mean 'it's not a bad uni' as in 'it's ok', but I meant it actually isn't bad. Just to clarify. Peaches Groodolf would have made it bad though, lucky escape. I did get that job, and have been pleasantly surprised. I just hope I can actually do it well. Let's hope YOU get pupillage too. I wouldn't mind crossing swords with you in court..
Ghandi was a lawyer; he was called by Inner Temple.
Even better.
Pupilpedia, thanks :) I enjoyed studying there, and the campus is quite nice too.
I'm sure you'll be great at your new job - you're an aspiring barrister after all; that's got to count for something. And yea - hopefully I'll see you in the Chancery Division!
