I got a letter from my BVC provider today, inviting me to my graduation ceremony in July. Graduation, a year later? What's going on?! Should I register on the website for a laugh? ;D
Another news (and I know that you're probably fed up of reading about it): my computer packed in again. I left it on last night and was watching TV, when I heard this grinding noise. I thought there was a tractor in my room or something. As soon as I got through to Technical Support on the phone, the guy said: 'It's the hard-drive, isn't it? I can hear it from here!' So I'm getting a new HD on Tuesday, finally.
What I don't understand is, why does it have to be the long weekend when my pc decides to play up?! I managed to switch it on now, and I can hear it rumbling already. I just need to check if I backed everything up. ;D

TBH, Andro, I didnt bother going to mine - I'd had more than enough of my small BVC group by then, and was just generally sick to the teeth of the whole idea of becoming a barrister, let alone engaging in my cohort's point scoring excersises!
That said, its sometimes fun to meet up with people you quite liked and have lost touch with - only trouble is, will they be as boastful of their own,and resentful of other peoples, successes as my own group are?!!
PS: I hope your sick computer gets well soon! Minx Pater's PC has a variety of viruses and worms and is, to be honest, a bit FUBAR.......!!

At city there is no graduation as you have call.
I think its a good excuse to have a nice ceremony and a par-tay!! Nothing nicer than being the centre of attention with your family and friends for a day!!

My provider had a graduation ceremony - call was something totally different ( and from my point of view a lot nicer!)
Still, Andro, 'tis is as Ginge says - a damned fine excuse for a summers par-tay!!! :)
For some absurd reason we get a winter graduation on our LPC, standing around in the snow and sleet is not my idea of fun. At least in July there is the potential for good weather.
